Okay but think we could have done better.
When we arrived we were told we had been upgraded. That was good as I do not think we would have been happy with any less than what we had. Most of the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was not great and some dishes (not really sure what they were) appeared to have been left on the table for the whole five days we were there. It was not a terrible experience but we probably could have done better even if we had to pay a bit more.

Not recommended
Hotel itself is not bad - 2 buildings 50m apart. We lived in one that is closer to Sultanahmet. View from the terrase was very nice and room was clean and ok. But the buffet breakfast was terrible - from what they propose I can eat only fried bread. And the worst - cats were jumping to the table and tasting the food...
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Never use Travel agencies around: -Trip to Princess islands costs ~60EUR p/p in travel agencies. You can go to any island with ferry (we were going from Kabatash) for ~3Eur p/p. -Trip to Black Sea costs also ~60EUR. You can go there by public transport or Taxi. Taxi driver we asked for price said 70 Lira first, but then agreed on 25 :)

Perfect!
This hotel is perfect for those who want to stay in Sultanahmet and not spend a fortune. It is clean and the staff are incredibly helpful. The hotel is actually two buildings located on the same street but opposite sides of the road. One of the buildings has a rooftop terrace with great views. But best of all is the location - it is close to everything you can imagine seeing in this part of Istanbul. And it is a short cab ride from the airport.
