Will not return to Wingate and will not recommend Wingate to anyone.
The kicker was that they would not help or assist us when our vehicle was broken in to and items stolen. Clerk told me the vehicle was outside the building and they were not responsible for anything outside the building. She couldn’t even get me a phone number to call local police and the 911 lady said it wasn’t an emergency. I asked for a maintenance man to bring me a vacuum and she said "I’ll see what I can do". No one showed. Glass was still in parking lot 24 hours later. I asked for a manager to return my call. Never happened. I left a rating card and asked for a manager to contact me. Never happened. Four people in the room...3 towels. Called for more. Never showed. Called for blankets. None available. Found 2 cockroaches...1 in a bed. Breakfast was nice but usually out of bacon or sausage. No thank you. I’ll sleep anywhere else.

Posted: 24-Nov-09I do apologize for the unusual incident happened at our hotel. This case does not represent us as good and consistent quality service we provide to our guest. In summer we had some incident in Dallas area about broken glass of cars so did we. But unfortunately we did not have hand held vacuum or vacuum with the attachment so we could not provide assistance on that day but after that we have got one shop vac in case of any emergency like that. We never had that case after that luckily. Also I could not reach to the guest because the number I had recd. was not correct and guest never called to follow up. They stayed with different name then complaint posted so could not track their information. We have excellent reputation for returning calls and quality of cleanliness. We also have 100% satisfaction guarantee for our guest. And I can prove that with track record of Wyndham system.

I was moved twice
My originanal room was exactly what I wanted. Then I was told that the room was already booked, and I would have to move. The second room was much smaller, and the air conditioner didn’t work. I was moved to another, similar room for the remainder of my stay. In short, it was not what I paid for, and I will not be going back.

Extremely Good Value so close to DFW
Rooms are large and comfortable. Good quality flat panel TV. Beds are comfortable. Good work area with WiFi. Rooms are clean and well kept.

The hotel was everything we were expecting. Very nice and clean. They even have continental breakfast that has a lot of varieties.

I stayed 3 nights at your hotel. And was extremly satisfied with all in the hotel. The staff was very friendly and eager to help make my stay enjoyable and comfortable. I would myself return and will recommend this hotel to my friends and famiy.

Location great for DFW
The hotel was very well situated to the activities that we were interested in. It was a 2 year anniversay celebration for us and we loved the whole thing.

Our initial room had a very noisy air conditioning unit but the hotel staff kindly moved us to a new room. Complimentary breakfast was good. Overall very good and reasonable place to stay.

Its a really good hotel for the price
It was a pretty good hotel for the price. It had free continental breakfast, it wasn’t the best, but it was decent (eggs, bacon/sausage, cereal, etc.). The downside is the pool was outside(it was raining out, other wise would have been great), the hot tub was broken, the bath tub wasn’t the cleanest, and in the hall you could sometimes smell the smoke from the smoking rooms. However the room was very comfortable and the hotel is right near a major highway so easy getting around if you are driving and don’t mind highway or city driving. Plus free WiFi was nice.

Decent stay

Very Nice Hotel.
I had read previous positive reviews about this hotel prior to making reservation. I was surprised at the relatively inexpensive rate for a very nice place to stay and so close to major attractions. Would definitely recommend to others.

Hard to find
hotel was, for the price, very good. Breakfast first class. Only problem I had was that there was nowhere to hand the shower rose. A bit off having to hold the spray and shower at the same time.

Night before our Flight Home
We needed a place to lay our heads the night before our flight home and we found a perfect spot at this hotel. Due to recent knee surgery, I needed a room close to the elevator and the receptionist put us in the perfect room that was handicapp friendly as well. That extra touch made for a very enjoyable stay, even if only one night.

Great work area
This hotel was very nice. I go to Dallas 2 - 3 times a year for business. I usually stay it the same general area on the city. This will now be my "new" place to stay. All the normal amenities were present and the breakfast was actually not bad.

Clean but stranded
Enjoyed the stay but very disappointed that the airport shuttle only runs on the weekend. I actually picked this hotel by mistake, I thought it was the Wingate in Las Colinas with a weekly shuttle. Won’t make the same mistake next time.

Poor service
Chose the hotel for its proximity to DFW and shuttle. When I called for the shuttle, no one answered the phone. I called twice with the same result. Took a taxi ($28!!) and found a teenager running the front desk by himself. Got to the room to find the toilet seat literally broken in half. I would never go back!!

Perfect for my needs
I was dodging Hurricane Ike to go on an international trip and decided to get up to DFW from Austin a night early and leave DFW early too. I needed a clean, safe place near the airport with no hassles. They had a shuttle to the Wingate (it was a bit slow coming TO the airport but got me there in plenty of time the next morning), the room was fine, and there was a complimentary breakfast. And the price was very reasonable.
