Very positive experience
We enjoyed very much our stay at the Floride Etoile. Very quiet but close to the metro and walking distance of the Champs-Elysees. Excellent service and clean rooms. No complaints!!

Would not recommend
The hotel staff knowingly gave us a room that had a broken air conditioner. They did not inform us of this during check in although Europe was in the middle of a heat wave. We did not find this out until returning from dinner to a 90 degree room. When we requested a room with A/C they could not provide this until the next day- the desk clerk did not have the authority. Managements recommendation was to leave the windows open - very busy street with parties and motorcycles all night. The following morning we addressed the issue with another desk clerk and we were instructed to have our bags packed and they would move us to a new room with A/C. We returned and this was not completed. The female hotel clerk was rude when we again requested the new room with A/C again. Finally a room was provided with A/C- right next to the hallway door and a much smaller room. The A/C did work.... Also, one of the beds in the first room was so abused you could barely sleep on it without rolling off of it. On a positive note, the hotel was in a central location and close to subways.
