Perfect Downtown Palm Springs Hotel
I stay at this hotel whenever I travel to Palm Springs and want to be near the Spa Resort Casino and the downtown area without having to drive everywhere once I arrive. If you like to walk, you are within nice walking distance from the casino as well as great restaurants and bars downtown. The rooms are comfy and reasonably priced and they have a great pool. The service is great and everything should be a lot better once they finish remodeling. Definitely a great deal!
Traveler's tip on dining
Try 2 of the best steakhouses in California, which both happen to be located nearby (2 minute drive or 10 min walk): LG’s and Chop House. The Spa Resort Casino also has an excellent steakhouse (not as well-known, but my personal favorite) simply called The Steakhouse.

Certainly expected more
It was a very disappointing stay - it would of be beneficial to know that there was construction going on in the hotel before we booked. It would be much better to go there once all the construction is done - it may be a completely different experience.

A little construction to update hotel but wasn’t really a problem. Staff was great. Walking distance to downtown.
