Will surely go back!
A very relaxing place. The restaurant, Other Side of the Moon, has the best rib eye steak. You can also do barbarque next to the poolside. The only drawback is: the resort is a bit too far from all the wineries. But everything closes at 5:30pm anyway, so why not just drive back and relax at the resort?! Will surely go back!

Would probably come back again (for a 3rd time)
We stayed 4 nights, and had a 2-bedroom villa which was great and more than ample for our party of 3 (the villa can take 5 persons). The condition of the villa was fairly good, although the quality of the housekeeping service was uneven - things were kept pretty clean, but shampoo and bath gel containers were never refilled, and some bath/hand towels were cleared but not replaced. The reception/concierge staff were generally responsive, helpful with requests for information, recommendations, and also prompt in bringing fresh towels or shampoo when requested. The villa came with a fully equipped kitchenette, which was great. The TVs though, were Jurassic - don’t expect flat-screen LCD/plasma models - and the selection of channels pitiful. Also, no free Internet connection is provided. Overall, it’s a pretty little resort, comfortable, and we love the villas (we had a garden villa the previous trip). A tip especially for travellers from parts of Asia not used to the seasons - do take note that winter isn’t the best time if you’re planning on a lazy, relaxing time lounging by the pool or the beach. It can be warm enough when the sun is out, but it’s windy and waters of the bay are rough, with pounding waves. Plus, the days are short - it starts to get dark from 5pm (early June), and is pitch dark by 6pm.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Catch sunset at the nearby Cape Naturaliste lighthouse area - awesome! However, tours to the lighthouse end around 4pm or so, and you’d have to take one of the nearby paths to a lookout area.

Bunker Bay
Fantastic hotel to take a parnter to for a quiet getaway. Excellent pool and restaurant the rooms are huge with even the most basic having a kithenette. Its a shame there is no outside spa near the pool but there are baths large enough for two in each room. I would definitely recommend this hotel to couples and young families but a warning to couples wanting some peace and quiet. Don’t go during the school holidays!
Traveler's tip on nightlife
Be aware the Resort is at least 15 minutes from the nearest town Dunsborough and 30 minutes from the most popular wineries so if you plan on indulging in some of the excellent local wine you need to plan ahead. Otherwise buy bottles from the cellar door at the Wineries and enjoy them at the resort!
