wow
the door to our room barely opened....then the ceiling paint was coming off in the corners...the musty smell would come off our clothes till after 2 times in our washer...over all it was bad...

Good price, poor hotel.
It was kind of scary pulling into this run-down neighborhood at night. It seemed to me that there were a lot of people there that were full time residences. The pool was dirty. The TV cut off about 10p.m. and the internet was cut off at 11p.m. Couldn’t understand the people from India at the front desk. Very old hotel which could have plenty of potential after a good cleaning and some repairs. Didn’t look like pictures either.
Carry a gun.

Jacksonville Baymeadows Inn and Suites Dissapointment
There is a complete distortion between the hotel pictures and actual review submissions. Upon entering hotel for check-in, the lobby gives an eerie -Bates Motel- impression, no lights, clerk/owner/manager speaks little or no English whatsoever, making it very difficult to communicate. Surroundings are full of weeds and area completely abandoned. Please bring your own toiletries, towels and blankets. As for continental breakfast same -1- mini bagel remain in tray for 2 consecutive mornings, water down OJ/coffee is disgusting, both plastic containers of Cheerios went untouched (no milk). Nice TV, mini-fridge/microwave in room.
