Great experience, great price
First time in Hawaii and i was happy to have stayed here. It is in the middle of everything and had nice, clean rooms!

Already planning our next trip
We were very pleased with the Outrigger Luana. The hotel is close enough to things to do, without being right in the middle of all of the noise. Bus stops were close by, so we could hop on a bus to get to Pearl Harbor, Diamondhead and Hanama Bay. Staff was friendly and helpful. We are planning our next trip to bring our daughter.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
You can get around to the major attractions by taking the public bus. At $2.25 per person, you save a lot by not having to pay for parking. Most of the drivers are very helpful.

Excellent Location, Fort De Russy beach is great.
The only odd thing was our room did not have a microwave. We had a 6 foot marble counter top, china dishes, silverware, mini frig, cherry wood cabinets, but no microwave. The air conditioning unit was rather loud. Pool size was, also, disappointing. Other than that the hotel was an outstanding value for its category.
