Taxis to the city center are available 24 hours a day outside the Terminal 1 arrivals hall. Limousine hire can be arranged in the arrivals hall (journey time to the city center: approximately 10 minutes). A bus service runs to the city center approximately every ten minutes between 6 AM and 10 PM. The Dubai Marina Apartments offers an airport pick up service.

Local buses run from the Deira bus station, near the gold souq, and the Bur Dubai station on Al-Ghubaiba Rd. Small motorboats cross Dubai Creek to the older parts of Dubai Abras from early morning until around midnight. Taxis are generally the best way of getting around for visitors.
