Excellent airport hotel

Great location for flights leaving from Stansted airport. Brand new modern hotel within walking distance of airport.

Wow! Amazingly convenient & quiet.

This hotel is a brief walk from the Stansted Airport. Talk about convenience! How on earth did they make such a quiet hotel?! The "modern" decorations did not impress us. However, after airplane "food" crossing the Atlantic, the dinner at the Italian Restaurant was FABULOUS!!!

Airport Hotel

This hotel was very convenient when transiting Stansted Airport. Even though it was raining, the walkway was covered and we did not get wet. It is a short five minute walk from Immigration to the hotel. Definitely would use this hotel again.

Good Hotel for Transit

This hotel is very nice. Clean and comfortable. Anyone who is transiting should give it strong consideration.

Very Comfortable

We enjoyed our stay at the Radisson and liked how close it was to the airport. We only stayed one night but would’ve loved to try the health club which was included in the price. The beds were extremely comfortable! Our daughter was curious and picked up the drinks and food in the minibar. We promptly brought this to the attention of the front desk and that she didn’t actually consume any of these and they made a cute joke to her and promptly took it off our bill. Check out was a breeze at 4 am and there was even a breakfast bar and fruit to take on our way out. We have no complaints and we would definitely stay there again!!

Eat out at the terminal as the food is much cheaper than the hotel. Also, beware if you bring hair tools. We brought a converter and adapter for the UK and plugged a Chi Straightener in and it started to smoke and the ceramic plates separated from the plastic. It is ruined and was an expensive mistake to make.

Good service, good food

There isn’t much here to improve on. A free continental breakfast might be nice but isn’t currently included.

Great layover hotel location

We chose this hotel because we had an early-morning Ryan Air flight, and we didn’t want to have to make the trip in from central London before the flight. It was clean and conveniently located. I’d recommend it as a layover/early-flight hotel.

Can’t beat the location, a two-minute walk from Stansted. I had dinner in the Italian restaurant and it was excellent. The rooms were very fun and modern.

Will definitely stay here again

I stayed at this hotel because my flight left too early in the morning to be trying to take the train back from central London to Stansted alone. The hotel and room were both comfortable and chic. I walked straight from the airport into the hotel within 4 minutes. The train station was right below the airport, so I had very easy access to the center of London (40 min ride, only 3 train stops).Breakfast was great and it stays open late so you dont have to wake at the crack of dawn just to eat. The hotel employees that I encountered were all friendly and helpful.

Buy the roundtrip ticket from the airport to central London because it cost alot less than two one way tickets.

Great Hotel - Very Convenient to Stansted Airport

The hotel is connected to Stansted Airport by a covered walkway which was extremely convenient for our early morning flight. The rooms were very clean, the sheets were crisp, and the towels fluffy. The bathroom floor was also heated which was a nice touch. We loved it.

We used Terravision bus service to get from London Victoria Coach stop to the Stansted Airport. The bus was right on time, very clean, and very affordable.

Close to airport

We chose this hotel for its proximity to Stansted airport as we arrived at midnight and didn’t want to travel anywhere at that time of night. It really is just a five minute walk from the airport and the walkway is covered most of the way. The hotel room was very modern, large and very quiet. The front desk even held our luggage overnight while we made a quick trip to Spain. Breakfast was okay but they tore it down while we were still eating and it wasn’t even time for the buffet to close.

They do have adjoining rooms with interconnecting doors, but you need to ask for them.

Great place

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was great, comfortable, elegant, and comfortable. The service and prices at the bar for lunch were not so good. The food at the Italian resteraunt for dinner was great, a little too gourmet for our taste but very good. Prices for dinner were okay. The short commute (less than 5 minute walk) to the Stamsted airport made the stay even more worthwhile.

Great solution to an early flight

I needed to catch a 6 am flight from Stansted, and as a single woman did not relish catching a mini cab from London at 3 in the morning. This hotel was the perfect solution. A 5 minute walk from the check-in counter, it was quiet, clean and extremely pleasant. Dining alone in the Italian restaurant felt very comfortable. Altogether highly recommended.

Not that bad for an Airport Hotel.

The best features are,this hotel is only 2 min. walk to the terminal at Stansted Airport.The rooms are comfortable and cheery. The not so good features are,the walkways were not clean. The hotel is under-staffed, no one was available for help with luggage, one waiter for about 8 tables at the resturant. With a few improvments this hotel can be a real winner.

Best choice at Stansted Airport

With low-cost airlines, often you have a flight at the dawn of the day, i suggest to stay at Radisson for its closeness to the airport Hall(really 2mns by walk well served from the hall) and also for its room comfort quality. You can really hangin’out before to fly again.

Convenient

Great hotel if you have a layover at Stansted or a very early flight to other parts of Europe. The hotel is clean and modern. The dining room looks great, but the menu and staff knowledeg of the menu could stand improvement. We ordered veal, but were served pork! The bathroom floor is heated and a nice addition to a bath. Free internet connection in the lobby was a nice addition. If you are trying to trim your baggage weight down to meet the European baggage weight restrictions, the concierage desk will be willing to store your excess for your return thru Stansted. This is a cheaper alternative than the airport facilty which is five pounds per day.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past. It is a great place to stay when flying into Stansted, especially late at night. I will definitely stay there again.

Puzzled

I got into a lot of confusing communication with the hotel staff. At first we didn’t get a decent bed for all of us (3 adult males in family suit). It took way too long time to solve our problem. At last we received a extra room for one of us, but it took some strong words to get that. After all the related hassle I decided to get a beer from the minibar, only to discover after couple of sips that it had expired in September 2006 (almost one year ago). We got one beer each complimentary from the hotel, but by then I wasn’t really interested in drinking beer. We went to the Italian restaurant for dinner and were quite disappointed with the quality of the food. On the brighter side the staff were generally good and the hotel clean.

Excellent, modern business hotel

Really cool Hotel, amazing 2 storey wine tower in middle, rooms decorated to a moderns and high standard. Right beside the runway, yet you hear absolutely no noise. Sometimes quite expensive but extremly convenient to the airport (5 min walk). Impressive overall
