Fine for what it is
Service was great, breakfast was pretty good and the rooms were just fine. No luxury here, but a good value.

Everything was as expected
Hotel was clean. The help was extremely helpful for the first 5 days. The last desk clerk was pretty rude to others. The breakfast had great variety to choose from and the staff lady manning the breakfast was on the ball and didnt let anything run out or get cold. Maid service was somewhat lacking. I can understand not providing linen service everyday for extended stays, but not vacuuming was a bit over the top. I would recommend this as a good place to stay for any reason. The entrance is a little hard to find the first time, but after that is easy to find.
Traveler's tip on dining
About 4 blocks from Chase Field is a restaurant called Mrs. Whites Golden Rule Cafe. Soul Food at its best. The fried chicken is great and the sweet potatoes are to kill for. This should be a must stop when in Phoenix. It is cash only!

Very pleased with this hotel overall
The only disappointment was that the pool was not clean. The breakfast was very good and the lady serving it was wonderful but the dining room was too small and crowded.
