General Information
What to expect: The K+K Hotel Cayré was completely renovated in 2002 to create a stylish modern interior behind a typical 19th-century façade. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, with the feeling of a contemporary Parisian apartment. The Left Bank location attracts vacationers, while the Metro stop just outside takes business travelers directly to the Paris Expo at Porte de Versailles.
Amenity highlights: The lobby opens into several lounging areas, a full-service bar, and the breakfast salon, all decorated in light, neutral colors with dark-wood touches and bold floral arrangements. The hotel houses a business center and two complimentary Internet stations. A fitness center with sauna also is available.
Insider tip: Just outside the hotel to the left is the Rue du Bac, a tiny Parisian street with stylish home stores and clothing boutiques. At the end of this street is one of the classic Parisian department stores, Le Bon Marché, and its huge gourmet supermarket, La Grande Epicérie. The Bon Marché tends to attract more chic Parisians and fewer tourists than the department stores of the Boulevard Haussmann.
