Great location in Paris.
The hotel has an excellent location with a metro stop just across the street and the Orsay about a 5 min walk. The hotel saff was very helpful. The room was small but every hotel I have stayed in (in Paris) has been small. The bathrooms were clean and modern. I would use this hotel in the future.

Deserves Its High Ratings
Excellent, friendly multi-lingual staff, IMMACULATE lobby and rooms. Conveniently located at the intersection of Blvd. Raspail, Blvd. St. Germain and Rue du Bac in the bustling 7th arr. Many picturesque cafes nearby. Rue du Bac metro station literally out the front door. Breakfast buffet is nice, but not worth 26 euros per person. Go to one of the nearby cafes and get a petite dejuner for 8 euros. We booked on the reviews on Expedia and were not disappointed! Highly recommend!

We loved it!!!
As expected, room was a bit small. But, we could not imagine a better location. We walked to the Louvre, Muse DOrsay, Eiffel Tower, Latin Quarter. Metro stop just outside of the hotel was an easy trip to Montmarte, Versailles and ultimately the airport. We rented the bikes also located just outside the hotel front door as well- with locations all over the city this is a nice option when you have walking blisters! The concierge was friendly and helpful and worked with our rudimentary french. Would definitely stay here again.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Take the train back and forth from the airport. The mainline from CDG leads into the city and with 2 easy changes we ended up right on the doorstep of our hotel for a fraction of the cost of a cab.

Great location and great service
I travel to Paris on business regularly and had stayed at this hotel before, and I was disappointed not to have a desk in my room (lesson for my next stay -- call in advance when I need a desk). The hotel staff was exceedingly helpful, even constructing a special cable so that I could plug into the LAN from a small table by the window. Everything was very modern and lovely but a little pared down. In addition to the desk, I would have loved to have a tub in my bathroom. But the service is first rate!

location, location, location perfect train station just at the door
rooms so clean - very impressed.
There is a little playground areound the corner - 2 min walk. Plus excellent playgrounds at Babalyone and of course Luxenburg gardens - all stroller walk distance or you can also catch a train to get closer for a shorter stroll.

Boutique hotel by dOrsay
I stay at this hotel often, returning each time because of the helpful staff, the pleasant rooms, the amenities and the location. Right at the Metro stop Rue du Bac, its easy to get around the City quickly. The breakfast is first rate.

21st C Efficiency and Comfort
I think of K&K Cayre as the best business minimalism: theres nothing fancy or overdone: its all exactly right and unobtrusive. The stainless and glass bathrooms shine and are scrupulously clean and easy to use; the water pressure is excellent. (I always leave K&K thinking I really must redo my own baths.) The rooms have everything necessary, and its all spotless. The breakfast buffet is relaxing and has more than enough to choose from. The array of newspapers available is another plus. Finally, its exactly where I want to be, on the Rive Gauche, near the Louvre, etc.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Get a taxi off the street or off a taxistand in Paris, not by having the hotel call for one. If you call for a cab, you pay for the cab to get to you--you can easily have a fare of 10 or 15 euros when you get into the taxi.

Great location but NOT a good hotel at all
After some visits to Paris I chose this hotel because I would like to visit the incredible Musee DOrsay and this hotel is really close to the museum. I got an "executive room" and the room is too much smaller than it looks in the pictures with uncomfortable bed and the bathroom is really tiny. The worst thing about the hotel is housekeeping. First day they forgot to clean the waste bin. Next day they didnt clean the carpet nor change the linens in spite of the linens had obviously some stains. Next day the housekeeping maid came straight into my room when I was sleeping at 9:05 am (if you know the hotel you understand that it is impossible dont see the "Do Not Disturb" door hanger).
Traveler's tip
Great location close to Rue du Bac metro station and Musee dOrsay.

Convenient location
Capable desk staff who were willing to help with reservations, directions, etc. Housekeeping staff were inconsistent and did not make up room till late in the day, would forget to replace glasses, etc. This was easily corrected with a phone call. Internet worked well.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
Hippocampus is a great little bar/bistro for impromptu jazz on Friday and Saturday nights.

Fantastic Location!
This was a great hotel with such a friendly and helpful staff. They went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable. This hotel is so close to the Louvre (only 4 to 5 blocks, easy walking distance). Hotel itself was very nice (bathroom has heated floors -- sounds small but was really quite nice.) I cannot say enough about the front desk and how helpful they were. My French definitely needed some work --but I tried and they were so nice and helpful. I definitely recommend staying here based on the staff, location and hotel itself.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
On Rue de Bac there is a great boulangerie/bakery -- Eric Kayser. They have the best chocolate croissants. The hotel is right across the street from the Rue de Bac tube station as well. Definitely recommend the subway system in Paris, it is quite easy to maneuver and takes you anywhere you need to go. I definitely recommend seeing Notre Dame, probably my fav attraction that I saw in Paris. I could have skipped the Seine river cruise though...not my favorite.

Dont Waste Your Money!!! This is NOT a Boutique Hotel AT ALL!
The reason why we chose this hotel was because it was classified as an Expedia Insiders Select Hotel... But when we arrived we found (in the entrance) two large horrible fake flower arrangments... A boutique hotel dont use fake flowers... The reception is OK, but it is not a Boutique Hotel at all!!! The size and quality of the bathroom, the TV and quality of the bed (we woke up every morning with a huge pain in the back) is not worthy of the price - you can find better hotels in the same price range!! I have been several times in Paris (more than 15) and this is the worst hotel in the same price range that I have experienced so far....
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The only thing good about this hotel is the location - two steps from the Metro and 3 blocks away from the Musee DOrsay...

cant go wrong with this location or hotel on the Left Bank
They excelled not only in the standard expectations, but the small things as well. We took the "red eye" and arrived prior to check-in. Without prior arrangements, they had our room available at 11am to freshen up and take a brief nap. We were not gouged on the mini-bar as is common practice elsewhere....multiple snacks, bottles of wine, etc for 1 week only about 65 euros.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Go to the Fromagerie behind the hotel....incredible cheese reasonably priced..great snack. Take bike tour to Versaille (Fattire bike tours)..tons of fun not physically demanding.

Great Hotel
We thought the location was good, although there were not a lot of cafes in the immediate area, however a great chocolatier, bar, and lots of high-end window shopping were right nearby.

Very Friendly Staff
I stayed at this hotel because of the reviews written on Expedia. Everything was just as described. The staff was so helpful in every way. The hotel was very clean. Room service for coffee was prompt. The rooms were small but not cramped. Good location. I would stay there again.

Great Option in Paris
I stayed at the K&K Cayre with my wife two weeks ago. The hotel is conveniently located in the intersection of Blvd. St. Germain with Blvd. Raspail. Great location, close to the Metro and within walking distance of all major sightseeing atractions in Paris. The staff was very helpful and accomodating (when our driver showed up at 7:00 am a day before our departure date, the Concierge refused to call our room and "disturbe his customers" without prior authorization from us). Rooms are average size, but clean and well furnished. The bathroom is big for Paris standards.
Traveler's tip on dining
Dont bother with the hotel breakfast. Walk a couple of blocks and enjoy the best croissants and cafe au lait at Gerard Mulots Boulangerie.

Fabulous - just like the reviews said it would be
From the moment we stepped out of the cab from the airport, the K&K was everything they said it would be and more. As we were four 60-ish women traveling together, attempts were made to upgrade our rooms prior to arrival. As it was too confusing due to having made the res with Expedia, we decided to forget it. When we got there, the concierge told us we were upgraded one room grade by them. Lovely - and, clean, clean, clean. All of us remarked at different times how clean and fresh smelling the entire hotel is. Definitely will go back!!!
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Definitely use the Shell Station next door for wine, cheese, etc. - much better, cleaner and more reasonable than the grocery store on rue de Bac.

Would stay again and again
This hotel was in a perfect location. I traveled with my mom (her first trip to Paris, my second) and I couldnt believe the perfect location. Close to bus, Metro and walking distance to most of the basics of a good Paris sightseeing tour. The hotel staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. I couldnt believe the amenities of the hotel - i have traveled through many countries in Europe and this is a gem.

Rooms were too small!!
We stayed at this hotel based on reviews from your web-site. Although the hotel was clean and close to all the sites, the rooms were extremely small. The bathroom was so small you barely had room to turn around. The beds were small and very uncomfortable. Each person had only one pillow which was very flat. Aside from this, the location was great! Close to many wonderful restaurants and we could walk to all major sites. The shopping was great around the hotel. I would recommend staying here, if you dont mind the close quarters.
Traveler's tip on dining
Go to Sushi West located on St. Germain around the corner from the hotel. Great!!
