Awful awful awful !!!!
Where to start. This hotel was so run down and filthy I was stunned. It was probably OK 10 years and 10000 families ago. The floors are filthy in the hallways and in the room. (I wore shoes inside my room it was that bad.) The t.v. has a 12" screen. I was surprised it was not black and white. The front desk staff was clueless. I wanted to change my flight and it took them over 1 hour to help me call Continental. I lost hair at that front desk. The only decent thing about this hotel is the parking garage. Oh yeah, wireless internet didnt work in the rooms so everyone had to use their laptops in the lobby area. This was a miserable, miserable place to stay. You get what you pay for and with this place what you get is a dump times two.
Traveler's tip for business travelers
Enjoy very good crepes at the place next to the English Bookstore. I forget the name. Excellent and affordable in a low-key, homey atmosphere. Other than that, rent a peugeut and drive to Aix En Provence going along the waterfront, stopping at patisseries along the way.

Good value for money
The room space is comfortable for two adults and two children. Few minutes walk to the beach and the restaurants. Very child friendly The main bedroom is small so difficult to fit two adults

Good hotel for groups and families and close to the beach.
This hotel is located in the Cannes La Bocca region of Cannes (about 10 minutes away from the city center on Bus 1 or 2). It is good for people on a budget and families because it contains a small kitchenette complete with a refrigerator, microwave, dishes and pans for you to cook. Every room has a balcony, half face inward for a look at the pool and the restaurant, the others face either onto the neighborhood or the beach. The rooms are painted yellow with blue comforters. The rooms have heating and air conditioning that you can adjust but the restrooms lack a blowdryer. The hotel does have WiFi in the lobby and public phones. You have to ask them to unlock your phone to be able to use it. The rooms do have a TV in case you want to watch. The hotel has information on various excursions into the region. They do not have daily housekeeping but you do have a closet with a dust pan, broom and vacuum if you so need it. The hotel will ask for a refundable deposit when you check in. Make sure to remove all the linens from the beds and fold all the towels and leave the kitchen spotless in order to receive it back after you leave. They do not return it to you on the spot as they have to inspect the room first but I did get my deposit back on my card.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Good Boulangerie a block south of the Hotel. Mister Pizza has good pizza and service. Try the Pagoda Fast Food for delicious Chinese food. Across from the hotel you will find the Tourism center. Call the states with a telephone card at the Tabac to save. Take an umbrella and wear comfortable shoes. Take the bus outside the airport directly to Cannes and back via the highway for 15 euros each way. They run from 7am to 7pm. Bus 200 goes from Cannes to Nice for 1.40 euros each way. March 07
