OK hotel in a good location
We picked this hotel mainly for the location and rates, guided by previous reviews. The main complaint we had was the stinginess of the room amenities provided -- when liquids are restricted in carry-on luggage, it’s nice to know that a hotel has shampoo and lotion. The shampoo here was in a tear-open package which was nearly impossible to open (scissors would have helped but we couldn’t carry them either) and there was no lotion. We also had only one face towel, although there were two of all others. We got an additional towel from housekeeping but it was gone the next day and not replaced. The bed was comfortable, the room spacious and the lobby attractive. The breakfast was ample (although the eggs were inedible). The room AC did not work well enough for me in a relatively humid climate. The free wi-fi worked well.
Traveler's tip on dining
There are very few non-chain restaurants in the area and many close before 8:00 p.m. It’s a real struggle to find a place to eat but the Longhorn BBQ place down the road from the hotel is good -- just get there before 6:00 or so.

A very good Hotel
Maybe you can put another pillow on the beds. The pillows are a little higher.
