More than what we expected
My husband and I decided that on our next visit to Jamiaca, we would try something different than a Resort...We usually stay at the Half Moon in Montego Bay. We had heard how beautiful Negril was and decided to "rough it" and enjoy the experience. The Country Country was our "economy" choice. It was not the Half Moon, but, it was in a great location, it was simple, nice and cozy...and clean! The bed was a little hard, but for some, this may be just what the doctor ordered. :-) We would stay there again.

My stay at Country Country was nothing less than expected...which is rare these days. The hotel got good reviews and in my opinion exceeded the 2.5 star rating; maily because of the cleanliness and service. The food isn’t anything to write home about, but it was tasty. I liked the ’old style’ Jamaican theme and thought that it was a refreshing contrast to the rest of hotels there. Its a beachfront property, also relatively close to most of the attractions in Negril and also very quiet.

Great value, great service
The service is excellent, the staff is excellent, the room is excellent. But where’s the ATM machine? It’s not much fun paying a cab driver to run you up to the ATM and back and of course none of the hawkers on the beach take credit cards.
