Great Place to Base Your Okinawa Trip
Located in the middle of the main island, this hotel is in the middle of all the places you’ll want to be going on your trip. The staff were helpful, friendly and ready to do anything they could to make our stay better. The rooms were quite large, especially by Japanese hotel standards where rooms tend to run on the very small side. CONS: Some of the carpeting was a bit old and had a stain here or there that was a bit distracting. Not right on the beach, but in a more suburban setting with the sea off in the distance. PROS: Great location as a base for exploring the northern and southern parts of the main island. Free parking for guests. Free rentals of various amenities for the room (DVDs, DVD player, travel guide, etc.) as well as things for the beach (beach mats, parasols, tubes, etc.) which made the stay much more fun while not requiring you to buy anything. The restaurants were all great and a great deal, the best being their summer BBQ where you could grill your own delicious meats outside on the terrace on your own grill, all you can eat and drink. BOTTOM LINE: A great hotel that offers a good base of operations and a lot of things to do while around the hotel itself. I had a great time there.

Make use of their free rentals: DVDs, DVD players, travel guides, tubes, beach mats, parasols, etc. These things make your stay or beach visit even more fun, and don’t cost you a dime!

Grand Mer
The Grand Mer was an ok hotel, but not for what they were charging. The hallways were dirty with filth, the carpets are in bad need of cleaning. The hotel had a weird, almost moldy smell to it. I’m not reserving anything there again.

Nice hotel, good service
The service is good, all the staff are nice and try their best to fulfill customers’ needs. There are umbrellas, etc you can borrow free of charge to go to beach. Hotel’s location is a bit far from beach.
