excellent choice
My first time in Sorrento and there’s like half a million hotels to choose from. I chose this one because of free parking as i was driving a rental and because i got a good deal through expedia. the view from the balcony on the bay side is wonderful, they seem eager to please, friendly, helpful. shuttle service is very helpful. a neat little road you can walk down to town but coming back up can wind you. I loved my stay here and would definitly go back. also i must mention the resturant in the hotel is excellent .

italian pay phones do not take change you must get a local phone card at one of the shops in town, to call for your shuttle.

Sorrento Charm
I recently spent the holidays here at this hotel perched high on the hill above Sorrento. They mainly cater to tour groups, but they at no time made us feel like we were bulked into that grouping. The room accomodations offer a spectacular view of the water and overlook the town. The heater is less than adequate, so be prepared to bundle up before going to bed. The breakfast is standard Italian (croissants, cheese, ham, juice, coffee/tea, rolls, cold cereal), however they also add local fresh fruit. The mandarin oranges are sweet and a good change to the Italian full breakfast fare. Don’t bother with dinner at the hotel. You fare better in town. However, the staff there do try to make you feel welcome. They don’t have total comprehension of English, but they do try and that gives you a memory to add to your memories of Italy.
