Great for Cairo
Considering that there is a very limited choice of hotels of this category in Cairo this is a good option but not a frugal one. The hotel is located near the museum and about 30-40 min from Giza. Expect to be offered car services at 10 times the ’official’ taxi rates to anywhere in the city. The restaurants are good and the service is correct. Even from the best spots the view is not worth the extra money so skip the upgrades. Security people are everywhere so not an issue. Keep in mind that this is a business hotel and it has very little charm.
