Vanves is fantastic, but this hotel has a few quirks..
Staff was not very friendly. Must use calling cards down at lobby phone for all international calls (room phones do not work for international calls). The small stovetop and cooking utensils/pots/silverware and such were fantastic. The room itself clean and comfortable; easy 10 minute walk to tram either direction from hotel. Small grocery store, ATM and post office just seconds from hotel. Vanves is beautiful little town--definitely would return, but perhaps in a different hotel next time. OH! An fyi--continental breakfast is "supposedly not a European thing" ...at least at this hotel accd to staff....8 euro for their wimpy breakfast spread....
Go in late oct--early nov...leaves changing and weather’s perfect!

Cheap stay
Nice about the hotel: it has a pool which you open the door and the pool is on the other side. So be careful. It has a kitchen & you can cook your meals. The supermarket & bakery is a block away. Free ez access to internet. Private parking. Not nice: The beds, covers, towels. Room didn’t seem clean or appealing. Smelled terrible! We had to open all the windows and after we returned from siteseeing the room smelled better. We did this throughout our stay. The lobby is appealing but once you get to other floor looks change!
Bottom line if your not going to be in the room but out and about its ok. Take your towels & linens.

Good business hotel
Right near Pte Vanves Malakoff Station and about a 25 minute walk from Pte De Versailles. Hotel is quiet clean and comfortable and basic, with a kitchenette. Not much going in on the neighborhood in terms of places to eat, though.
