Nice hotel, busy traffic corner!
We chose this hotel based on reviews, and you can’t go wrong for a nicely appointed, VERY CLEAN, convenient tourist location. The complementary breakfast buffet has an amazing array of nicely kept items, truly saving you the price of a full restaurant meal, from healthy fruit & grains to eggs & meats to very yummy cinnamon rolls and other breads plus beverages. On a nice (or not) day, you can walk right out the back lobby door to explore & walk the waterfront trail west to the piers, or east to the charming downtown area. Staff was very friendly, relaxed and helpful. Room, linens and bath were spotless, but I’m afraid we found the mattress quite uncomfortable, too soft, which had me waking several times during the night, which is NOT common for me. We used the internet no-refund price special, which gets you a room on the south side of the building, overlooking the town’s busiest - noisiest - intersection. I would have upgraded to the river side with a view after finding this out, but the place was full with a convention, darn it! I would only return to book a nicer room with quiet, peaceful river view!

Fantastic Hotel
Fantastic hotel worth paying extra for a view of the water. Staff was great. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Great breakfast.
Traveler's tip on dining
Walk to the Wet Dog Cafe or take the trolley, this place is a great little find, Staff is GREAT service is GREAT and the food was GREAT.
