Not what was pictured on the internet.

initially we were given a room way in the back of the hotel, that was not at all acceptable. We complained and they gave us a room that was better but still not what was pictured in the internet review of the hotel. The room was acceptable, bath was better, but not up to the standard that we have experienced through Expedia in Vienna and Prague.

very covenient

the hotel was close to the train station which is very convenient and a short walk form the downtown. The staff was very helpful. Great place for a great price.

Typical bare-bones 3 star hotel

The hotel is located within a striking distance of the train station and slightly outside of the town center. It is very basic, "value" hotel with small rooms. It was adequate for one night in otherwise sold out location.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Breakfast at the hotel is 12 euros per person. Go across the street (diagonally to the left) to a tiny quick food cafe painted in yellow on the outside. Nice owner, delicious cheap food.

Would use this hotel again!

We had a great room...toward the back, away from the street. The train station is just a few min. walk away and it is easy to get around the city from the hotel. It was very clean!!

Standard 2-3 star hotel

Clean, decent, close to train station, inexpensive but nothing special and rooms facing side of avenue gets some noise.

Extremely Unhelpful Staff

This was our worst experience on a recent trip through France. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful from the check-in on. They offer wireless internet at a surcharge, which was one reason we chose the hotel. We signed up on line to use this service for a fee, and got the immediate screen response that we had registered for 12 hours and could get our password from the hotel staff in a few minutes, who would also answer any questions that might come up. WE asked after a half hour and the staff said they hadn’t received a password. We asked, how long does it take? They responded they didn’t know. I asked, whether it was closer to one hour, 5 hours or a day? They responded maybe an hour. The next day, still no password so we asked them to call someone to get the problem fixed. They’re response, but who would I call monsieur. No internet for 3 days and they never cared to fix the problem. Note also that there are extra taxes at checkout--although the amounts are insignificant and it is just the annoyance of having to pay add-ons and expedia giving you no clue which hotels will do this.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

A side trip to Beaune is very nice.
