Not as represented
The representation of the Hotel is missleading. It is old and neglected. The actual condition of the rooms is nothing like the photos shown. The rooms are small and uncomfortable. After one day we cancelled our scheduled return and found another hotel. The only vertue of the Hotel is its location.

great value, great location
room was clean and spacious. wi-fi in the lobby is a little spotty, but it’s free(!). there’s also a free internet-accessible computer in the lobby. great location, just blocks from the harbor and major transportation hub (ferry/subway/bus). all rooms are on upper floors and there are no elevators, so beware if you have any physical limitations.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
take the train from circular quay station to the blue mountains and use the convenient all-day buses to explore--this is much cheaper and allows for more independence than the many guided tours to the area.
