Very Nice Luxurious Hotel on Private Beach
This hotel was more than I could have asked for. The room was fantastic. The atmosphere was great. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway. It is very secluded and away from overcrowded Patong. Hotel has taxi service available. The staff was very professional and accommodating.

Fantastic location and great hotel
Hotel was fantastic, loved the pools and almost private beach. As it is a little out of town it is great for families and also for a complete relaxing holiday. We had a ground floor suite and which overlooked the pool and beach and it was wonderful waking up to the sounds of the waves. Hotel was kept exceptionally clean and the food was great
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Use taxi’s from outside of hotel, find a driver you like and stick with them, we found that they gave us a great price for trips around Phuket Island.

Very impressed
I stayed at the Katha for 3 nights and of all the hotels i stayed whilst i was in Thailand, Katha offered the best service with the friendliest staff. They made you feel right at home and extremely comfortable with the settings. The rooms were clean, the setting was idyllic and perfect, the pools and facilities were very well kept and it has a perfect location away from all the buzz of Phuket if you prefer a quiet vacation. I definitely recommend this hotel for people who want a quiet, serene time away from home.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
If you prefer nightlife: proximity to bars, restaurants: this hotel is not for you. IT is very far from the patong area and relatively expensive and timely to travel between Katha and Patong. Also, not too many activities to indulge in. There are enough restaurants and bars in the hotel itself but these are pricey if you compare to local restaurants. IF however, you simply wish to enjoy the hotel’s facilities: this is the stay for you!
