Incredible Place in Bend
The front desk staff when we checked in were so friendly, professional, and helpful with making recommendations for local activities. The room was very nice and the bathroom... well, I wish I could have brought it home with me. Beautiful natural stone on the floor, walls, and decorative tile accents were beautiful. They have a wonderful pool and the hotel location is perfect for walking to downtown or starting your trek on the Cascades Lakes Highway. We will definitely return!
Traveler's tip on dining
Be sure to visit the Deschutes Brewery for dinner.

Beautiful spot, bad service
Our room was comfortable (we stayed in one bedroom condo/suite with kitchen), and clean. We were in town for a wedding (my husband and I), and a long overdue weekend retreat without our two boys. Unfortunately, we didnt realize that some/all condos were owned and rented out. The owner above us conducted a noisy home project for fours hours! Make sure you ask to be placed in a condo without a tenant above you! Security was called, but since it was outside of quiet hours (6.30 - 10.30) there was nothing they could do.... I feel we could have saved money and stayed in a quieter and cheaper place if we had booked with the chain hotel on the corner of the entrance to the village. We prefer not to stay in chain hotels when possible, but feel that in hind-sight this would have been a better choice. Watching Mad Men is just not the same when youre listening to what sounds like a bowling tournament going on above you....

Rivers Edge suites
Great room overlooking the deschutes. Great location for bend activities. The athletic club was excellent and hottub nice. The River trail was a great walk.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Go to the Newport Market to stock up on food and beverages before. Went to Victorian Cafe for breakfast about 2 mile drive away and was busy but excellent!
