Cream of Super 8
Super 8’s can be either very good or substandard: this one was excellent. We weren’t there long enough to use the indoor pool, but the accommodations were spacious, very comfortable and clean, continental breakfast was of course carb-oriented (the nature of them I guess) but good. Yes, there is a field around/behind, but bare is better than some neighborhood or commercial development harboring who knows what sometimes. Very easy to get on/off interstate. Edwardsville with some shopping options is only about 10 minutes away.
