Best hotel in St. Petersburg!
It was excellent; by far the best hotel I have stayed in, in St. Petersburg.

Close to train station
The Novotel is within wlaking distance to the train station - very handy if you are arriving in St. Petersburg by train. We took the overnight train from Moscow and arrived at 8:30AM exhausted, we had to wait an hour for our room, not bad considering the early hour. However, when I fell asleep on the lobby couch waiting for the room, I was told by management that it was unacceptable. The breakfast buffet is unimpressive. Very centrally located, within walking distance to most attractions.
