Great Service
Wed stay here again. The room was small and the carpet was threadbare but clean. The service from the maid to the concierge to the check in was great. There was a kitchen fire while we were there and the hotel had to be evacuated which was exciting but all the staff was extremely helpful both during and after. They refunded 1/2 of the room cost for that night. The location next to Victoria station was handy since the that also meant there was several underground routes and bus lines here.

Not very impressed
The hotel looks good aesthetically but the bathroom was bad - the taps were old and leaky, squeaky and hard to operate - when they open it is hard to close, when they close it is hard to open. The television channels were pathetic - just a few regular channels, nothing fancy and nothing great. Overall I was not very impressed with the hotel rooms.

Central Location
You cannot get any closer if you will be using the Victoria Rail or Coach Station. I kind of liked the feel of turning back the clock as this hotel has not been renovated for quite some time but I understood why my teenage daughter wasnt too enthused with that. We were in London for a concert and its central location was a big plus.
