Service and Location
The service of those that worked at the hotel was both freindly and helpful. The location was ideal, easy access to the public transportation and walking distance from the city center.

Good location, quiet , low-key.
Well kept ,smaller hotel off the main street, but in walking distance of main shopping centre, botanical gardens, university and tram transport passes by. Breakfast is most adequate but not elaborate

Nice place, reasonably priced
Hotel Spalentor was very nice for the price. It’s location right across the street from the Spalentor is very close to the tram which enables going almost anywhere in the heart of Basel. The breakfast was good. My room was large although the bathroom was quite small. The hardwood floors are pretty, but cold, although the hotel does provide slippers for this purpose.
