Check Availability
While the hotel was fine, I had booked a non-smoking deluxe (riverview) room with a king bed. What I got was a view of the Daimler Chrysler building next door with a small view of the river, had two double beds, but it was non-smoking. Was told the only deluxe with a King was smoking, which I felt should have been communicated when I booked the room.

Gives Hilton a Bad Name!
My friend and I were very excited about staying at a Hilton in Canada. This Hotel was NOT A Hilton, but a run down old Days Inn. I have had more complete and friendly service at a Days Inn than we received at this Hotel. The front desk staff were very rude and nothing worked in the room. The walls are extremely thin! We fell asleep early with the television on and woke up to someone banging on the door extremely loud. It was 1 am and someone from the front desk told us to turn the TV down or shut it off if we were sleeping. WHOS BUSINESS IS IT IF WE SLEEP WITH THE TV ON? And trust me, it was not loud at all, but may seem so with the thin walls. The next morning we asked if we could use the front desk phone to make a local call and one of the staff told us we had to use the phone in our room because there was no way to "offically" charge our account for the call. I couldnt believe my ears! Nothing was included, AND we had to pay for local calls. And the slow internet that cost us $7 for 10 minutes took 10 minutes to just load one page of mapquest. I am very upset and disappointed in my stay at the Hilton. Because of the Hilton Windsor I will never again spend a penny of my money to this company. All in all, please DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY at this Hotel.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Be sure to visit Point Pelee. Very beautiful and fun days activity. Very inexpensive as well. Only $15 for an adult, all day!
