Good job Marriott
We loved this hotel. From the staff at the front desk to the restaurant and everyone in between they did a great job. We arrived very early in the day and assumed that we would have to leave our luggage and then come back later to check-in to our room. We were pleasantly surprised that we were able to check in right away. It made the day so much easier. Also, the shuttle service to and from the airport was amazing. On time and usually waiting. The location is excellent if you need to use the metro. We would definitely stay again.
We were there for the Solar Decathalon. In spite of the terrible weather they drew hugh crowds. We had a great time - Way to go Illini!!!

Great hotel stay, second stay
With the metro under the hotel, extremely convenient to get anywhere in d.c. Only complaint is the internet daily charge. Would have been nice to have had a small refridgerator in the room.

Great place for kids.
The Crystal City Marriott is a great place to stay, especially if you are traveling with kids. The indoor pool is nice, access to the Metro is easy, and the shops at the nearby underground mall are easily accessible. No complaints, except that there is another Marriott nearby with a very similar name and the two facilities are very easily confused. As a result, it’s easy to drive or walk to the wrong one.
Guests can easily access the Metro subway system through a series of underground tunnels. From the Crystal City station, downtown DC and Capitol Hill are easy trips.
