5 star stay! wonderful with kids.
This hotel was AWESOME! we had what they considered an apartment. It had a full kitchen and laundry inside, with 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms. It made for an absolutely wonderful stay. The staff was amazing as well! I also took the advice from other reviews on the site recommending to upgrade to the Executive level, and they were absolutely right. The breakfast is HUGE and will hold you ALL day. And to have drinks and snacks available nearly all day as well as part of the executive package, made for a nice option when we werent really hungry, or just needed to break before dinner. The ONLY negative (if I could call it that) was that it wasnt right down by the water. But it was only a 15 minute walk to everything. I did it with 3 kids (14, 12, 10) and they were fine. WE LOVED IT! SPA was lovely too!
Great place if you are staying for a while too, you have a place to do laundry in your apartment, and you can cook if you want. The kitchen in the apartment is FULL size.

Awesome!
Beautiful hotel! Impeccable service! Concierge and all staff smiling and ready to help. Executive room definitely worth it as it gives you a larger room and access to the comfortable lounge with computers and delicious snacks and drinks all day. Pool and spa area are gorgeous and open to every hotel guest!
Free Walking Tour of Budapest was fantastic! Central Market was great as well. Opera House is beautiful and the performance was fantastic. Try Goa on Andrassy near the Opera House for a great meal.

Excellent with a little more work
Our stay at the Corinthia Grand Royal was great, from the room, quality of hotel to the helpful concierge staff. The one flaw was the staff at the breakfast buffet. We were already paying through the nose for breakfast but found ourselves questioned by what I call "the breakfast police" repeatedly as to whether we were paying or had breakfast included with the room. To top it off, the usher brought in the bill well before we had finished! If youre paying that much for breakfast, you should be entitled to better service.
