Convenient to Gare de Lyon
This is only a few blocks to the Gare de Lyon if you intend to use the station to catch the TGV. Otherwise, you may not like the fact that you can hear the underground trains rumbling by and the single rooms are tiny. You have to look up to the ceiling to watch the even tinier TV. The elevator can only hold one person with luggage and the hallways are quite cramped as well. Id be afraid to be caught there in a fire or other evacuation emergency.

Convenience not luxury
We stayed at this hotel for one night after a flight from Chicago and before a morning train trip to the South. It was very convenient--walking distance to the Gare de Lyon, clean, and modern. As mentioned in other reviews sound-proofing is an issue and we were serenaded by a clarinet player in another room. Hallways are small as are the rooms--its Paris--but modern and very comfortable. It is one a small street need the local mairie but for a single night it was fine. I dont think I would like it for an extended stay. The neighborhood was very nice, many good restaurants.
