Worst hotel ever!!!
Probably the worst hotel Ive ever stayed in. My family arrive late after driving a long time so I just wanted to sleep so i didnt ask for another room, i wish i had because the tv remote didnt work, the toilet ran continously until you jiggled the handle. And the rest of the bathroom and shower (did not use) was disgusting with mold and whatever. The swimming pool was empty. No microwave like the sign in front says. I checked in and out through this tiny little window that the people hand you the keys its funny, they seem like theyre are hiding cause they know the motel is so bad. No personal touch to say the least. I wouldnt stay there again for any price. Also there isnt anywhere at all to eat late night in redding or at least near the motel.

Great room for the great price I paid
I stayed at the economy inn located in Redding, CA on the fourth of July weekend. I expected prices to be extremely high for the holiday weekend, and was satisfied with the price I ended up paying. The hotel was not luxurious but it definetly served my needs well. The room was large and clean, the staff was very helpful and catered to our every need. We had a few requests and they handled well and quickly. The owners were very polite and cared about making our stay enjoyable. Even though this is a lower star hotel I will likely be staying there again, mostly becuase of the caring service I recieved.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
I booked the hotel without calling them directly and was excited to see a pool listed as one of the ammenities on Expedia.com. Due to the new regulations on public pools many pools have been delayed in opening for the season becuase there is a waiting list for maintence work and inspections. I was surprised to find the pool closed upon my arrival. call the hotel you choose online and make sure everything is up to date on thier listings.

Not impressed
A cheap place to lay your head. Could not get hot water in the shower. Some of management unfriendly. Hotel was not in good condition or maintained very well. Not very soundproof. We could hear loud traffic beginning at five A.M. Maybe our rooms were to close to road. Bathrooms were very small. On the plus side, rooms were clean and the heater worked good.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Walking distance to the Sundial bridge and Turtle Bay Museum. Restaurants and grocery store not to far. Microwave and refrigerator in rooms.
