Kinda cramped
We only had to grab a hotel for one night before we flew out of vienna early the next morning. We had two weeks of luggage and souvenirs with us in the early summer and found the room to be a bit cramped and hot. There was no AC and the window opened up onto the alternate road to the A4 so the traffic was a bit much. I am sure that if we were packed lighter and we were staying longer we would have come to enjoy the hotel as the hotel was clean and renovated, had a sauna and some good small restaraunts nearby. Access to the metro is easy but you need a car to get to the nearest station. From there it is 15 minutes into Stephans Platz.

OK in a pinch
This hotel is OK in a pinch if you are flying out of Vienna Airport early. Its actually several miles from the airport and the taxi to the airport costs 14 euro. Unless you have an early flight, you ae better of staying in town and talking the train or other transport to the airport. The quality for Americans is like a Hotel 6.
Traveler's tip
Transportation to this hotel - If taking the train to the hotel fom Vienna, first go all the way to the airport then take a cab back. Do not get off at the the local stop. You will be in the middle of nowhere with no taxi.

Perfect for our needs
Needed a room near airport for 2 day layover on trip back to USA. Very friendly & courteous staff. They held our extra luggage in storage while we took a 11 day road trip with no charge. Room very clean, a little noisy with windows open on street side. Great breakfast. Would certainly stay short term again.
