Hotel Coolidge

This is an authentic railroad era hotel situated in the village of White River Jct. Vermont which is part of the larger Dartmouth College community. It is one mile from the interstate highways - 89 and 91 - and central to all the villages of the Upper Valley region. The hotel has been very well maintained and has a country inn feel with a fireplace in the lobby and thoughtfully appointed guest rooms. Private baths, wireless internet, satallite TV, coin-op laundry and an elevator speak to modern touches. Four function/meeting rooms invite weddings, small conferences and special events. The village features unique shops, several restaurants and eateries as well as excellent professional theater, a rail museum, easy access to two rivers for swimming, canoeing and tubing and daily train excursions. The Hotel Coolidge is situated in the center of the the historic village of White River Jct. Vermont. The village includes a number of eateries, a professional theater, a passenger rail station with daily service, a museum and shops and galleries. It is on the scenic byway of the Connecticut River where it meets the White River and is four miles from Dartmouth College.

Would never recommend this hotel
I would never recommend this hotel it is in very poor repair. basicaly it is a dump.

Needs some work
The Hotel has charm, but is in need of modification. The hot water pipes bang very loudly at 3am and then again at 7am that woke us up. I think that the cost is fairly expensive for what it is, the rooms were not that clean. I think it is overpriced for what it is.

The tip-top cafe near by has really great food.
