It was excellent value in a great location!

I arrived in the rain on a dark night. I was worried as I’d read in reviews about it being a "bad" area. There is plenty of police presence, shops are open late on weeknights and I went into a shop to make enquiry as to where the street was...very friendly shopkeeper. Only met nice people in that area. The Metro station is very convenient.... Hotel was a pleasant and clean haven after 3 weeks of bumming around Greece. Staff courteous and efficient. Highly recommend it!

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

This hotel is very good value compared to other local Athens hotel prices, and it’s got no drawbacks.

Bas Neighborhood, Noisy, Small Room

I am disappointed with this hotel, even though it is just a 10 minute walk from LA PLAKA which is pretty nice, the hotel sits in a very ugly, dirty, noisy and low income zone. My room was noisy and the curtains let the sun enter my room at dawn. I would not consider it again.
