Nile River view
Being on the island, every room offered a river view. Wonderful sunset from 13th floor lounge. Overall an excellent hotel.

Beautiful Setting, Comfortable Hotel
We spent two nights in Aswan and had a lovely view of the Botanical Gardens from our room. We enjoyed dinner in the Panorma Bar. The view is wonderful, food good (dont miss the delicious ice cream!), and we enjoyed the violinist who serenaded us. It was fun taking the hotels private ferry to and from the city. We would stay there again.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
If you arrive by plane, ask the hotel to arrange a car. We failed to do so and had to bargain fiercely with the cabbies who started out at 4x the going rate. Also avoid the local alabastor factory, Elnouba Bazaar where the employees demand tips and the prices are high even after bargaining. Wait until you get to Luxor where competition drives the prices down and gives you more bargaining leverage.
