Very Happy!
We stayed at the Anchorage Inn for 8 days. For the price and location, you couldnt beat it. It was our first time to Charleston so we had a lot to see and we wanted a place where we could be comfortable and in the middle of the action. We were steps from the Waterfront Park, King Street, the market, and on and on and on. The staff we extremely nice. They have a book at the front of the hotel that lists all of the restuarants and provides a menu. The wine and cherry were a nice touch. We enjoyed talking with the other guests. It was neat to see who was from where and who has done what. Should we go to Charleston again we will stay at the Anchorage Inn.
Traveler's tip on dining
There are SO many wonderful places to eat. Kaminskys had the best desserts and Social had the best tapas. The Market Deli had the best lunch and Aromas was the best dinner.

Great Place!
Anchorage Inn is a quaint B&B right off the harbor. The rooms are basic, but very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. The breakfast is fantastic and access to downtown is very nice. The only draw back is that it is very noisy because all the rooms face the lobby. Overall, it is a great place to stay and very affordable!

Gotta go by the new Moon Pie shop and get a Moon Pie Sundae! They are out of this world!
