Beautiful hotel in great location
Beautiful rooms, extremely comfortable beds, great service and fantastic facilities! Only downfall was the overpriced hotel car. We used a hotel car to take us to the pyramids and back and were overcharged significantly. Use local taxis!!
Perfect weather in early November!

Not a 5 stars at all
- Staff very confused and lack of communication - Picking up water bottle cap from the floor and trying to put it back on bottle - Laundry service came back during my 1 month stay, always with grease stains, management did nothing about it - If you stay a long time be prepared to eat same food over and over at buffet restaurant

Hit or Miss
From the moment you walk into the hotel, service is either at a 5 star level or at a level you would expect at a youth hostel. One staff member will greet you with a smile and a friendly good morning, while another will give you a nasty look and stare you down. The same applies to waiters, doormen, front desk, and concierge. You simply do not know what you are going to get at this property. The check in process was somewhat burdensome and what should have taken 3 minutes, turned into a 15 minute imbroglio in which I was passed from staff member to staff member. This included being forced to sit down at a "special guest" desk. It appeared as though it was a conscious effort to reap as much "baksheesh" as possible. The checkout process was equally as burdensome and took 15 minutes as the front desk performed a full reconciliation of hotel charges (which should ordinarily occur the night prior to checkout). While the hotel was clean with beautiful grounds and restaurants, the service at this property deserves a serious makeover.
