We will be back! It was wonderful.
Great hotel, with friendly staff, a central location, and certainly one of the cleanest hotel parking garages that I have ever seen.

Near-luxury, very much worth its price
The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helped me whenever I needed it, even in the middle of the night. My room was huge, with nice furniture and very clean. The complimentary breakfast was good, but not outstanding. The hotel is situated in the center of the city, everything is walking distance, which is very convenient. The only drawback (which as I take it applies for all hotels in Halifax) is the fare for the shuttle to and from the airport, which was more than Id have expected; plus you have to make reservations for the shuttle. But then, the airport is really out of town, and the shuttle leaves often, so I think the service is, while a little pricey, still very good.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Dont miss out on the citadel and fortress - just walk up the stairs at the little citadel and youll find the street that leads up to the fortress. Great view over Halifax and the harbor (no entrance fee)!
