Used to like the Shilo
We have been customers of the Shilo Inn at the Salem and Newberg, OR locations for the past 10 years. These two hotels used to be very clean (including the corners, edges of the rooms and elvators)and one felt comfortable being there. That is no longer true of these two Shilo Inns. During our stay in April, there was no kleenex which was a surprise. I’ve heard the owner takes pride in his establishments so maybe he needs to visit them occassionally.

Definitely better than before
Recently remodeled. But continential breakfast is a little lean.

Just what we were looking for
Rooms were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The steam room was a plus. Nice breakfast choices included. Staff was friendly and efficient.
