Super Luxurious and affordable
Superb service especially during check in/ arrival. You dont have to stand for queue for check in.We was guided to a waiting place, served with a cup of cold tropical juice and a nice cold refreshing towel. We stayed in a mini bangalow room, such a cute holiday hut. Huge bed with an extra bedding/ sofa bed. Bathroom has complete set of toiletries, comb, saver, hair dryer etc. There are 2 swimming pool. White sandy beach with good security service, but the sea water are not fresh with tides due to lagoons blocking the waves. We walked a few meters down for a better beach to swim around. Great breakfast, I love the traditional Thai chicken noodle soup served daily breakfast. You can find some cheap massage centres by the beach. For nice dinnings, there are plenty of choice around the neighbourhood. Conclusion, its still worth of staying, I would definitely comeback perhaps for our honeymoon :-)

You can find some cheap massage centres by the beach. For nice dinnings, there are plenty of choice around the neighbourhood. In the evening, there are some street foods/ hawkers. Every night around 10 oclock a scooter man selling BBQ fish balls, sausages and squid will sell in front of the hotels. Tourist will be charged for 20 Bahts each stick, for local Thai only cost 10 Bahts. Taxis and Tuk Tuk are easily available in front of hotel by the street. Taxi fare to Airport cost 300 Bahts

Very nice
Very nice place, I was pleasantly surprised. Location was great - somehow it manages to be right smack in the middle of busy Chaweng but is set back far enough that its perfectly quiet and serene. The grounds landscaping were the most lush and beautiful Ive ever seen at a resort hotel. The pools were lovely, the food was great. You can walk right out of the front side of the hotel into the crazy chewang main drag, or you can walk out the beach side and have a really quiet walk along the beach. Its not a 5 star hotel - there were some minor issues like mildew stains in the shower, but overall I was really impressed with the quality for the money we spent.

pack bug repellent, there were TONS of mosquitoes all over the property due to the lovely koi ponds, but it really didnt deter from the hotel. Just be prepared. Buy cheap water bottles from the 7/11 across the street.

Great Value for Money
We were plesentely surprised both by Koh Samui and the Chaweng Regent Beach Resort. THe Island is beautiful and the people is just lovely, Thais are just one of the friendliest and nicest people on earth. The hotel itself was great, check in was very quick and our room was ready and available eventhough we arrived way before 11 am as we had an early flight. When we got into the room the staff had put a baby cot (which we didnt request) but they knew from our reservation that we were traveling with our 4 month old son. THe breakfast was just fantastic, the pool and the beach just wonderful and the Thai style gardens around the hotel are very well maintained and give a very nice atmosphere of confort and relaxation. The only downsize is the temperature of the shower in our room, it was either very hot or very cold. Also, the prices of the restaurants are VERY expensive so you better eat outside if traveling on a budget, there are great options just by walking by the beach or alternatively go outside and walk by the main road.
