Nice Hotel

This was a good hotel with pleasant and helpful staff. Conveniently located to the River Market district and close enough to the convention center area to walk. The hotel didn’t just knock my socks off, but neither did I wish I had picked another location.

The Flying Fish restaurant just a couple of doors to the west is a great place to eat. If you like barbque, find one of the Whole Hog Cafe locations. If you are looking for Tex-Mex Mexican food...forget it in Little Rock.

Convenient & Comfortable

The room was big (2 queens & a fold out sofa) and the staff was gracious and quick to respond to any request we had (a group of girls on a birthday trip - we had numerous requests). The hotel was a quick walk to activities along the river and the covered walkway from the parking garage to the hotel was very nice since it poured down rain on our last day! My only complaint is that my room key stopped working after 6 hours and the room was designated as "Non Smoking", but when we walked in the room, someone had definitely been smoking in there prior to our arrival. I’m glad we brought Febreze!

Traveler's tip on recreational activities

If you’re attending a concert at the river amphitheater, I definetly recommend this hotel - it was only a 2 min walk.

Perfect Location

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at this hotel while visiting Little Rock. The hotel is in the perfect location and is very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Our room was very spacious and we enjoyed our time there.

Traveler's tip on recreational activities

If you don’t have your own rent bikes at the bike shop across the bridge on the North Little Rock side of the river and bike approximately 7 miles to the Big Dam Bridge - beautiful trail - and you can go your own speed.

Great room, great location, good price!

The hotel itself is in fabulous condition, and unlike many places in downtown Little Rock, parking was both easy and inexpensive. My room was large, clean, and pretty, and even had a balcony! The staff was efficient and friendly. I will definitely stay there again!

Excellent Hotel

I live downtown Little Rock and stay in a hotel at least once a month. For the money, there is no better hotel downtown. The staff is great, it’s brand new and it has the best location. You cannot beat it.

Traveler's tip on dining

For casual food, walk next door to the Flying Fish. The best steak house in the state is across the street, it’s called Sonny Williams.

Very Nice, but a bit too expensive

This hotel is well-maintained and in a great area, but the prices are a bit exorbitant for Little Rock.

A great find

This hotel is the perfect place to stay if you want a very nice, clean place that is in walking distance of many attractions. The room was comfortable, clean and large. The Marriott has a pool, off street parking (fee), store, breakfast buffet(fee), lounge, free internet, cable tv, refrigerators in rooms, laundry room, plenty of towels in room, views of the river market area and friendly staff. If you do not want to walk there is a trolly and a street car you can catch in front of the hotel. Try flying J’s fish place about 2 blocks away, the fish is great. You have to visit President Clinton’s library. It is well worth the visit. Plus it is right down the street from the hotel. Don’t look any further this hotel has everything you need.

You cannot take children under age 21 in many of the eating place in the river market area because of smoking. So if you have small children you may want to ask where can you take them to eat.

Lovely location...

We had a very pleasant visit to Little Rock. Parking was easy in the secure structure behind the hotel. The decor was modern and very attractive. Our room was huge and well appointed. We had to ask at the dek for lotion and conditioner but shampoo was provided in the rooms. Located right on the River Walk and near a freeway on-ramp - couldn’t have asked for more!

Traveler's tip on dining

Ask for the "sweetay" to taste a local Arkansas favorite. Refreshing iced tea made with simple syrup for a sweet and refreshing drink!

Very comfortable for business

I recently had an overnight stay scheduled for Little Rock related to business. When I arrived at the hotel, I was rushing to find a phone for a teleconference. In no time at all, I was checked into my very comfortable room and on my call. Restaurants and entertainment were within a block or two (try the Flying Fish Restaurant). The room was great. I would stay there again in a flash.
