We like it.
The hotel was well maintained and clean. The front desk people were nice and friendly. We love the free drinks at the mini bar inside the room, it has free internet as well. The location was great! Just walking distance to the train stations, stores and there’s a mall right accross. It was close to the ships’ port too. We stayed here for couple of days before we board the NCL. They offer breakfast buffet for 10, not too bad compared to other places. It was really expensive to eat out especially in Tourists’ areas. Breakfast was ok, usual eggs, bacon etc. Beware of the taxis, they tend to take you to the longer routes, also they charge extra when you have luggages with you. But I guess, they said that it was normal, they automatically added 10-15 Euro extra to your meter bill. They have good train system, you can even take it to/from Airport if you don’t have a lot of luggage.

Great place to stay....
This hotel was great. It offered a free mini bar(drinks only), business center free of charge, great sauna and jacuzzi. Although it wasn’t in the center, the metro and tram is so easy and cheap to use. The mall is right across the street and has a grocery inside,which is another way to save money on snacks. Would stay there again.Beach was nearby and beautiful. Staff were very pleasant and helpful

Check in was not promising as it took 30 minutes to find my reservation but once I got the room it went very well. I styaed in junior suite (1902) and loved the room...Wireless Internet could be better as you need to buy a card with pin code for an hour or 24hrs, and as I stayed 6 days had to do it 6 times....other than that very good, clean and stylish. Restaurant is expensive and I went there only once for dinner as Barcelona has better choices.I will be back there for sure

AC Barcelona
Excellent hotel removed from the din of Barcelona but easy access provided by the wonderful taxi service and turistica buses that serve the city. AC has small rooms by American standards but they are comfortable and well cared for by a kind and helpful staff. The pool provides a unique view of the city while providing a wonderful post for relaxation. Definitely a great place to stay!

Go Somewhere Else
Gorgeous hotel with the wrong people running it. HORRIBLE BUSINESS HOTEL!!!! Problems included: Water went out at 0200Hrs and the hotel staff stated they (Quote) hoped it would be fixed by morning (Enquote)when asked if they would inform maintenance (or just hope)they said they would but they recommended I pack up and move to alot lower floor immediately (@0200Hrs). (Quote)Free internet went out and when I asked what they would do they said (Quote)feel free to buy some internet time (Enquote) 3 out of 4 plugs out on sun deck and no one cared. The (Quote)4 Free computers(Enquote)in the business center were down most of the time I was there and the printers werent working. That was the biggest problem...none of the hotel staff cared if something wasnt working they simply stated (Quote)youre free to go elsewhere (Enquote)...or feel free to pay for it extra...HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! When I asked about why there was such bad service here I was told (QUote)This is how it is in Spain (Enquote)...despite this my friends stayed at another hotel and Loved it.

Great hotel
Great hotel and staff were extremely helpful.Most of the staff spoke English, which was very appreciated! The problem I had with the hotel is the FREE internet was not available. You could only use their computers unless you paid for service in your room.

Great Hotel - Great Location
This was a very modern, very clean and comfortable hotel. We stayed there the night before we left for a Mediterranean cruise, and it was located within 15 minutes of the port. I would advise skipping the restaurants there though, because they are very over-priced. Also, the hotel staff speaks English well.

Best Room I have ever staid in!
I agree with the other reviewers. This hotel is in a great location for those who love the beach (about a 10 minute walk), it is across the street from the mall and a tour bus route. They ugraded my room for free and I staid it had dual showers, a hot tub, and walk in closet. The hotel staff were decent however could not provide much insight on tourist activities. But the hotel itself is simply amazing.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
Go to Olympic Port around 10 or so at night. They have plenty of resturants and lots of little clubs in that area.

A nice minimalistic hotel!
My family loved this hotel! Is too minimalistic the lobby, and staff people are very helpful. The 13th floor is amazing! you can get into one of those hot-tubs and enjoy the view of barcelona, the pool was quite cold, even i go in summer time. The room is amazing, nice bed, and the bathroom is clean. I recomend this place! although is a 10 min by subway far of town. There is a chic mall infront of the hotel.

Beautiful
The hotel is beautiful, stunning. The views were amazing and the staff very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. It is done in nothing but the best. The only reason they received a 4 for maintenance is because the hot tubs were cold.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Must see Picaso Museum, it’s worth the wait in the long line. El Pallasos for dinner, local residential fish dining. Paella at the Olympic Village. The food in Spain is the most amazing I have EVER had. Oh, and on the way there, spend the extra to travel Business Class, you will be rested and ready to go. Take the Spanish and Itallian Taxis only. The Canthanese do not, and I mean do not like Americans.
