best Cincinnati hotel

This Cincinnati hotel was close to Kings Island of Cincinnati. Best accommodation near Xaviers University and most of the Cincinnati attractions. We really liked the fitness center, the clean rooms with beautiful bedding, the restaurant, and the staff of the hotel. We wish to stay here again.

Going again

I was happy to stay in this Cincinnati hotel. I have stayed at other hotels. Price here is much cheaper compared to other Cincinnati hotels. This Quality Hotel & Suites had all facilities that I was looking in a hotel..such as pool, fitness center, free internet, coffee machines, clean rooms, amazing bed comfort. Free breakfast was a plus. Surprisingly with all this, hotel was fairly close to Cincinnati major attractions including Cincinnati downtown. Staff was great. I did not have any complaint during my 3 day stay. Most of the other travelers looked happy with the hotel. Restaurant inside the hotel had good food. Hotel Manager was kind and generous. I will visit again for the location and the price.

Quality Hotel & Suites of Cincinnati maintains very good customer care services, good facilities, very good and reasonable price compared to other Cincinnati hotels in the area. This hotel area was most safe place so far that I have seen in Cincinnati. Close to Cincinnati downtown area, so many best places to dine in Cincinnati were near this hotel. Manager Avi does his job best. I found the hotel very clean. Pool area was clean. Internet access was free. Other facilities included free continental breakfast which saved my valuable time. Fitness Center was best. This was surely a hotel that succeeded in giving best comfort at best location. I highly recommend this Quality Hotel & Suites of Cincinnati whether you are visiting Cincinnati for work or vacation.

Would not go back

The room we checked into was very dirty. The sheet were definetly not changed from the last occupants. There was hair, dirt and blood on the sheets. They did move us to a new room, but that room could have used a good cleaing too, however the sheets looked clean?!

Hotel not clean but rooms are!

We wanted a cheap place to stay. They tried to make it a fancy location but missed the mark. It would be HIGHLY improved if they cleaned walls, door knobs, handles, mirrors and the such...we would stay again since the rooms and linens were clean and there were no bed bugs...we checked...

Happy with Quality Hotel & Suites Cincinnati

I have stayed at many Quality Inns before, so far I found this Quality hotel & suites of Cincinnati best and worth it place to pay and stay with family and kids. This Cincinnati hotel gave me all the facilities at its best. General Manager Avi and other hotel staff was very helpful. We found our hotel room clean. Bathroom was clean. Room was pretty huge.Beds were large and comfortable. I liked the cleanliness of the hotel. Outdoor pool area, free breakfast, nearby restaurants, convenient stores, were plus. It was easy to get to almost all the city attractions. Cincinnati downtown was only few minutes drive from the hotel. We did not get a chance to eat at the hotel restaurant, but it looked good. This Cincinnati hotel was only a mile away from Xavier’s, our destination in Cincinnati. i will prefer Quality Hotel & Suites if you are searching for a reasonable family hotel in Cincinnati near Xavier’s or Cincinnati downtown.

Hotel is in area that is not as bad as previous post. Area is single family homes. People walking in the area after dark. My one complaint is description of buffet breakast versus continental. Decent continental but buffet breakfast implies hot eggs, sausage, bacon, etc. Hotel has a continental not buffet breakfast. Certainly a nice continental though.

Good location

The hotel itself is in a good location to downtown Cincinnati. It not far from any activies in the city. The breakfast could have been better.

great hotel deal in Cincinnati

I wish I booked all my rooms at Quality Hotel & Suites during my previous Cincinnati visits. I have stayed at other hotels in Xaviers area. Most of them are very expensive and do not provide the same quality of service. My daughter goes to Xaviers and we often travel to Cincinnati to see her. My recent stay at Quality Hotel & Suites was one of the best hotel stays for the price. This Cincinnati hotel is 3-4 minutes of drive from Xaviers. Nice locality. Very safe to stay with complete family. Staff was concerned about our comfort throughout our stay. Hotel was close to city attractions such as Kings Island. Many good restaurants were nearby the hotel. Pool area was quiet and clean. Free breakfast was decent. Hotel restaurant serves some great burgers. Manager was kind and energetic. He personally took care of the issues. Hotel lobby and rooms were clean. I liked the sitting area in the lobby. Nice city view from this sitting area. Our room was kept clean everyday during our stay. Beds were great. I am very happy with the management and services and will stay only at Quality Hotel & Suites now onwards in Cincinnati.

Not impressed

Not impressed. Leak in bathroom and water stains on the ceiling in the bedroom area. Did not clean our room, one day - they forgot. Key to the door did not work daily and had to go from the 7th floor to the lobby and back up at least one time per day and we were there for 5 days. Couldn’t tell me why the key would loose its working order daily.

Good Value, Clean Hotel, Comfortable suites with pleasent accomodating staff, Nice Neighborhood

My husband had to attend a conference in Cincinnati Downtown, and we stayed at Quality Hotel & Suites of Cincinnati.We booked a room at comparatively reasonable price. After going to the hotel, it looked clean and decent..so we upgraded it to a suite for a very good price. Our suite was large, clean and beautiful. Bathroom was huge and clean. one area of suites had comfortable couch, a coffee table, and television set. Other part of the suites had huge comfy bed. Carpet was clean. The sliding glass door next to the bed gave the view of beautiful pool area. Hotel gives complimentary access to high speed internet. Suites was great and the comfortable bed helped us get a deep sleep. We were close to Cincinnati Downtown area. It was easy to get to other attractions like Kings Island, Zoo, Six flags, museums, and botanical garden. Quality Hotel & Suites also provides complimentary continental breakfast. We did not try food at the restaurant, but the area looked maintained, clean with delicious menu. Hotel area was safe, close to freeway, police station, and fire station. The hotel staff we encountered were courteous, friendly and helpful. The General Manager, Avi, was energetic and readily guided us about the local attractions and must visit places in Cincinnati Downtown. TV in the outside sitting area with comfortable sofa was very pleasing. If you are traveling in Cincinnati area, Quality Hotel & Suites is the excellent choice and a best value hotel.

Wonderful hotel stay in Cincinnati at Quality Hotel & Suites

Liked the hotel services and price. Cincinnati attractions were close to the hotel. Central Park, Kings Island, were just few minutes from Quality Hotel & Suites. Our destination, Xavier was only 1.5 miles away. The hotel room was clean with comfortable beds. Staff was accommodating throughout our stay. We will return soon.

Nice hotel deal at Quality Hotel & Suites Cincinnati

Quality hotel & suites at Cincinnati had a good price when I checked and compared the prices in the Norwood area. Hotel location was convenient for us. Hotel was clean and staff members were accommodating and friendly. Our room was clean too. Room had all necessary facilities including a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. Central Park plaza of Cincinnati was next to the hotel. Got time to attend the event that was going on in the Central Park Plaza. Cincinnati Gardens was beautiful too. Drive to Rookwood commons took 2-3 minutes from this Quality Hotel & Suites. Our plan to visit great American Ball park was a good success, as it was not too far from the hotel..we woke up in the morning, had free hot breakfast at hotel and made a cheerful start of the day. Other places such as Riverfront Stadium and Omnimax theater were also worth visiting here at Cincinnati. We found our beds and room clean every evening when we returned to hotel. Staff at front desk spoke sweetly and welcomed very well every time. It was a memorable stay at Quality Hotel & Suites Cincinnati.

Security, reasonalble price and helpful staff

Me and my friends booked Quality Hotel & Suites for a 2 days. We had 5 rooms booked with the hotel. Most of my friends found the price best. I would say there were many other good noticeable things here. Good customer service and quality is the part where this hotel has really emphasized. Two of our rooms were upgraded to Suites for additional cost! The Manager was gentleman, he made sure that our rooms are clean, and properly made beds everyday. We were also given a free ride to Kings Island by one of the employee in the hotel. We had no any complaints during our 2 day stay. In fact we were glad to see the facilities such as free healthy breakfast, free high speed internet, friendly service. I found the location very convenient and Safe. There is a police station and fire station exactly in front of the hotel. It was a safe and secure place. Very quiet and peaceful. I would surely recommend this hotel for travelers, especially people who are new to Cincinnati, because the staff is helpful here and will try their best to make their customers happy.

Many choice to shop and dine very close to the hotel. Safe for kids and women.

DO NOT STAY HERE!

We had a very bad experience with this hotel. I have stayed there before with no problem just last year, but this hotel has really deteriorated in the past 12 months. When we checked in, the lobby was dirty, and the hotel grounds littered with trash and overgrown with weeds. We requested a crib with our reservation. When we checked in, we asked about the crib; the manager on duty motioned to a broom closet and told us we could take a crib from the closet and carry it up to the room ourselves! The crib was filthy and no sheets or blankets were provided. Bags of garbage littered the building hallways and the elevators were dirty. The next day was even worse. We left the hotel for the day around 9 am. When we returned to the hotel that evening around 6 pm, our keycards had been deactivated, and our room had not been touched by housekeeping. There were very questionable-looking people populating the lobby, and obvious drug deals were occurring in the parking lot. STAY AWAY!

DO NOT STAY HERE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE SMALL CHILDREN! NOT SAFE!

Not impressed

The first room we were given had wires hanging out of the bathroom wall and a bucket of tools on the floor. The second room we were issued the remote didn’t work for the televison and when asked to bring batteries they said they would and never showed. Room was clean but the coffee pot was dirty and they never replaced the used coffee packets.

Wonderful Quality at this Quality Inn & Suites Cincinnati

Right from the time when you check in, the service and staff is so good that no reason remains to leave. Liked the room and lobby. The room and bathroom was so very clean. The pulled down beds made me feel right at home. It was a nice decor throughout the entire suite, from the bedspreads to the furniture. I had a question regarding the directions, a front desk employee politely and patiently answered my questions and guided me well. TV, refrigerator worked very well. The restaurant food was fine. Free breakfast and free wireless internet service is offered by the hotel. I was impressed by the work done by quality inn & suites at Cincinnati in keeping their guests happy.We would stay again, best place we have stayed in a long time.

You can find many restaurants around the hotel and Kroger’s is just within 1 or 2 miles from this hotel.

Conveniently located, reasonable price

I stayed at this hotel on my wedding night 30 years ago! The place is still well maintained. The room didn’t have the amenities of small frig or microwave which would have been convenient on this trip. Oh, and the nightstand drawer contained several condoms in addition to the Gideon Bible.

I enjoyed a visit to the nearby Salvation Army thrift store on Park Avenue (same location for over 50 years) and enjoyed an evening of good music from the Queen City Balladeers at Leo’s Coffeehouse, held in Norwood’s Zion United Church of Christ; Monday evenings, $3.

Who Cares????

When entering the hotel the lobby gave an appearance of a nice hotel at one time. The lack of caring on the part of the staff and bland look overall showed me there was little to no interest in the customers. This just a job for the staff and it shows. There is however little in the way of hotel accomidations in this area of Cincy so yes I’d stay again but only out of need. So who cares? No one at this location, look elsewhere if you can.

A little old, but comfortable

Physically, the hotel wasn’t much to write home about, but the staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the continental breakfast was more than acceptable. The location was very convenient to downtown and UC, and while I wouldn’t say that it was the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in, it was absolutely satisfactory.

Not impressed

This does not seem to be a 2 1/2 star hotel. It is a very old and tired property, and is not well maintained. Our room was dirty (example: a crusty pepperoni with a bite out of it was laying on the floor of our room). Also, the hotel lobby shares restrooms with a bar, and when we checked in, drunk bar patrons shouted "what are you looking at?" to my family (which includes two small children). I will not go back to this hotel.

When in Cincy...

It’s better value for money than other hotels around the area. The heater worked great, the staff were friendly, there was a pool, the broadband internet worked great, there was actually a hot breakfast too. Definitely making my way back there again next time.
