What to expect: The smoke-free Triton delights the eyes with wild, irreverent decor and attitude. Works by local and international artists adorn the walls and public areas. Worth a peek are designer suites, such as the Häagen-Dazs Sweet Suite and those created by celebrities such as Jerry Garcia and Carlos Santana.
Amenity highlights: A 24-hour fitness center means guests can climb the stair machine when the East Coast is waking up. Tarot card readings (surcharge) may offer more investment insight. Although its downtown San Francisco location makes most things accessible on foot, the hotel also provides a complimentary town car service on weekday mornings (subject to availability) to the financial district. Hosted wine receptions are held evenings in the lobby.
