We recommend this if you are looking for a place to sleep. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was ok. Towels were worn but clean. Breakfast was ok, and watched carefully - made one feel like that second cup of coffee was off limits. We would stay there again.

Terrible hotel

We chose to stay in an non-smoking room, and I found several cigarette holes on the bed sheet. The room is also small and noisy. I could not even fall in sleep due to the noise and light outside the room.

Decent hotel for the price

Clean, A/C worked, good parking, close to attractions, decent hotel for the price. Needs an elevator.

Good for a night or two, but not longer

In and of itself, the hotel wasn’t bad, it was convienient to Lancaster, right on the Lincoln Highway, clean, and inexpensive. The three gripes I have are: The bathroom is very small, the bed was stiff and lumpy, and the continental breakfast was nothing more than coffee. If your passing through town for the night it’s ok, but for a three or four day business or leisure stay go elsewhere.

Just OK

The location is good, but there are tons of motels on Rt. 30. The rooms were not too clean. The "pool" had visiting ducks. The hallways smelled musty.

Never stay again

It would be ok if all you had to do was lay your head down at night but even then we reserved a non-smoking room & the air reamed of smoke as if you were in a bar.

I would never come back and stay here

This has to be the dirtiest place I have ever stayed in. The room was filthy and had no towels when we checked in. When I went down to office to speak to the manager on duty I was informed that the room couldn’t be dirty because no one had stayed in it for days. The manager had trouble understanding English. When I asked for bath towels because there were none in the room he gave me wash cloths. He would not come up to the room to see for himself the condition of the room. This was a 2 night stay. After the first night after housekeeping didn’t empty the trash cans and did not leave new soap or shampoo. I asked at the desk for both items and was refused. I would not recommend staying here. I would have left if not for the fact that I had a "no refund" clause from Expedia to gaurantee the rate. I guess you get what you pay for. Don’t always go with the cheapest rate.

Ok for the money

This hotel is alright, for what we paid. It’s not the Hampton, but satisfactory for our purpose...vacation on the cheap. The location was very convenient to so much in Lancaster area!

dirty place

Dirt and hair everywhere. Feces on the wall in bathroom. Phone didn’t work and the same was true for the TV remote. Would not send someone I didn’t like here.

O.K. for the price

They were in the process of renovating. Our room was located on the floor with most work happening. The pool was well maintained and the kids liked it. The location was prime. If you merely want to sleep in the room, it was fine.

Good Place for a day or two

Hotel wasn’t bad. The only problem was the cleanliness of the rooms, rugs weren’t vacuumed, sink/shower need a good cleaning. It seems all they do is wipe down the sink, they don’t use any type of cleansers.

Must eat at the Plain and Fancy restaurant...tradition Amish cooking.

Cheap, and it shows

Not much to recommend this place, other than price. Service was alright, but the building is old, in need of new carpets and generally unattractive: suitable for sleeping and that’s about it.

Appreciated the entire floor being smoke free, quiet in the mornings. "Breakfast" VERY limited!

Knight’s Inn

This hotel was not very clean, and smelled of smoke. We were not satisfied at all, but could not switch to another hotel because there are no vacancies.

On The Main Drag

If all you’re looking for is a cheap place to sleep, this’ll do just fine...don’t look for amenities, just a bed ,bath & TV.

The location is perfect.

I expected more from a Knights Inn chain.

Not what I expected. I expected better form a Knights Inn. The bathroom needs lots of work. The fixtrues seemed new but ther was mold everywhere.

Unexpected Surprise

We were unsure of what kind of hotel we would be staying in for such a low price but were quite pleasantly surprised at the quality and cleanliness of our room. We had such a nice stay that we have decided that we can visit our family much more often and stay well within our budget.....Thanks for a nice visit and easy to get to place to stay......
