A nice surprise
sometimes when a motel is less expensive, the quality is not very good. But for the price, the Anchorage was outstanding.

Friendly
This hotel was easy to find, had nice rooms (beds weren’t very soft though), rooms must have been recently done (lovely bathrooms), pool was a little small but room for several kids to have fun (chlorine smell was strong), and staff was extremely helpful.
There is a Market Basket grocery store and a Rite Aid pharmacy near by which came in handy for needed items on our way to the beach,shopping, or water park.

Excellent value for the price
We needed a place to stay one night until we could get into our vacation rental. This place was perfect for that. The room and bathroom were clean and bright. The beds and pillows were especially comfortable. We liked that we could open our windows and let the cool ocean air in through the night. The grounds have a dog walking area, and if you are a smoker, plenty of outdoor space to smoke and not disturb others. The staff was friendly and helpful, both on the phone and in person. We will definitely stay here again.
