Loved it!
The Hotel Amister was a great find in Barcelona. While it is a 15 minute walk from the city center, you will find the amenities, staff and character of the hotel worth it. If you are traveling with 3 or more, the size of the room is also great. The bathroom is also very spacious. We had a wonderful stay!

A very pleasant and convenient hotel
Although we arrived rather early (10h15) we already good enter our room. Furthermore we had some questions about events taking place in Barcelona and the receptionist took every precaution to help us the best he could. It really will be a pleasure to return.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Although we were warned, one of us still got robbed of his wallet. Please take care as we witnessed other cases as well during our stay. Those thiefs are amazingly handy in robbing things from places you imagined could not be "more secure".

Good location and flavor of Barcelona
My wife and liked the hotel and its location set in a residential area. We were within walking distance of the Ramblas and the Diagonal. The hotel has free WiFi or they will let you borrow a lap top for free. The hotel does serve an American style breakfast,though a little pricey (12 Euros). But it is hard to find a similar type breakfast in the area. The Aerobus (airport bus) picks up two blocks away (4.5 Euros). All in all a good place to stay.
