There is a lot better in Kata Beach. Save your money.
From the beginning, the staff were very rude and short with us. We requested 2 double beds (optional) and only received 1 king for the 3 of us. When asked to change it and for more towels, we were refused. Our bed sheets were covered in hair and there were unemptied garbage bins. Overall, it would have been fine, but the customer service and personal feeling of safety were not met.

Good hotel close to the beach
One of the cheapest hotels (not counting rooms for rent category) in Kata. Despite, it is pleasant with nice service, a good enough swimming pool and reasonably maintained and comfortable rooms. It is not a romantic hideaway, though - its 200-some rooms are vell distributed over the building blocks on the hillside, but still the breakfast terrace feels crowded at peak hour. Overall, a good choice for this price.
